Privatization of Wealth and Inescapable Moral Responsibility

Proposition:
The private ownership of wealth should not be perceived as detached from the system. For every bit of private wealth retained, in a limited system, an equal amount of negative potential is created for others within the limited system. This imposition throws a moral charge at the one who is privatizing the wealth.

Science and Philosophy

Proposition:
Science aids philosophy, and philosophy aids science. Philosophy aids science in providing priority, and correct generalization techniques to give science direction when no physical clues can highlight a way forward.

Attempt to tell the truth

Proposition:
One must always attempt to tell the truth, or remain silent. One should never intentionally omit details, in an opportunistic fashion, or lie by omission.

Some parts of a man's qualitative worth cannot be sold.

Proposition:
While a man can provide another man with a service, the ephemeral quality that is the identity of the individual can never be captured by authoritative determinism.

Justice and opportunity

Proposition:
There is a time for taking opportunity for yourself, and a time to pass it up. A man shall not assume every opportunity for gain is what he should do, nor should he degrade another for pursuing just opportunities.

There Is No Real Amorality

Proposition:
One shall not detach himself from the imposition of responsibility to coexist in a closed system with the other. There is no real position of "do for myself, by myself". Out of convenience, opportunists trample the other, indirectly, by not caring about the indirect consequences of their actions when "gain for myself" is the driving tendency.

Many small causes, vs. one large cause

Proposition:
Making an impossibly large difference in the world could be impossible. The sole power a human being has is there ability to cause. Therefore one hundred small causes, can lead, through contingency to a massive real cause, whereas a single massive cause can lead nowhere. Ideally, we understand to pursue both in our lives, but if you are going to achieve one or the other, many small causes, at the level of friends, family, and strangers you come into contact with is likely to yield real results.

Just because you cannot know everything, does not mean you cannot know anything.

Proposition:
A man should not assume because he cannot know everything, means he cannot know anything. This idea leads to detachment and relativity. While you cannot know everything, there are some things that can be known. Common sense in repeating patterns tells you that every day you wake up in the same house, surrounded by the same family. You live in the same place, with the same job. While these are not absolutes, the slow rate of change, in comparison with other rates of change gives you a comparison of difference which allows certainty to materialize. If you are arrogant, and you expect certainty as an absolute, surely you will not find it and be cast into relativity, hedonism, and life for the body.

Money shall not compromise personal integrity...

Proposition:
Never allow your personal integrity to be compromised by money. To serve the self, with no thought of the other, is usually the easiest path to take. Money makes this tendency impossible to resist, especially for the hedonistically minded individual. Maintain your personal integrity, and understand that not all parts of a man should be for sale.
